Round Wall Planter

Dollhouse Wall Planter I wanted to add some charm to my dollhouse by creating a wall planter for the porch. I loved the idea so much that I decided to make another one inside the house. Check out the simplified version of the process below for an alternate version. Materials Needed: Cardstock (1 Sheet) Scissors Exacto Knife Ruler Tacky Glue Artificail Plant Filler Supplies for Holding Glue: Use a paperclip, tweezer, or pliers to clip and hold down the glue. Instructions: 1.  Cut two circles out of cardstock with a 2" diameter. 2.  With an Exacto Knife, lightly score one of the circles directly in the middle. Score the a quarter inch above the middle line you cut previously. 3.  Fold over the score lines on the cardstock like the image. One side should be shorter than the other. Set aside. 4.  Cut one long strip of cardstock the length of the circumference of the circle from step 1. 5.  Score the strip to the desired width of your wall planter. Wooden Shipping Crates

Wooden Shipping Crates   Heavy duty and collapsible wood shipping crates that are economical and easy to use. I like to use these when shipping fragile art works to friends for extra protection.  Step 1) I print these on cardstock and the like to use a sharp razor blade to score-cut on the folds. The nice thin score will allow the box to fold nicely and retain its shape. Step 2) I prefer to glue the smallest tabs first to the base board with the two larger tabs. Then I glue the larger tabs to the base board with the single tab.  Optional: You can choose to glue the last tab in but I usually fold it inside and secure with some tape so the receiver can cut the tape and retain the shipping crate's shape. Enjoy! 4x4x1 4x3x1

Cutting Mat I glued these  to several layers of poster board or cardstock, but to avoid bowing, I would recommend to place something heavy like a book on it to dry over night so the board lays flat. (under construction) Sewing Textbook I opted to keep these books closed and so I created book covers as it were. I like to print these on computer paper, wra

Photo paper is an option for a glossy look, but I will say that I find cardstock and photo paper tend to easily lose their ink as you handle the paper when you crease and fold the tabs together. I used paper, glued it to cardstock and then proceeded to assemble the Arcade Cab by gluing the tab with PVC (Elmer's) Glue. Glue sticks aren't strong enough to hold the paper tabs securely
