Wooden Shipping Crates

Wooden Shipping Crates

Heavy duty and collapsible wood shipping crates that are economical and easy to use. I like to use these when shipping fragile art works to friends for extra protection.

Step 1) I print these on cardstock and the like to use a sharp razor blade to score-cut on the folds. The nice thin score will allow the box to fold nicely and retain its shape.

Step 2) I prefer to glue the smallest tabs first to the base board with the two larger tabs. Then I glue the larger tabs to the base board with the single tab.

Optional: You can choose to glue the last tab in but I usually fold it inside and secure with some tape so the receiver can cut the tape and retain the shipping crate's shape.

Enjoy!
